Loma-Air engines
A “Powered by Loma Air” engine incorporates precision workmanship and matching procedures similar to or better than virtually all other engine overhaul shops in Europe. All engines “Powered by Loma Air” are assembled to factory new limits for fits and clearances, and include parts required to safety the 100% parts replacement for normal wear requirements for overhaul. A “Powered by Loma-Air” inspection is considerable more thorough than the industry standard. Rotational and reciprocating parts such as camshafts, crankshafts and connecting rods are subjected to two methods of magnaflux testing. Parts are tested both for longitudinal and circular flaws, thereby detecting subsurface irregularities in all axes of inspection. Fluorescent penetrant inspection is performed on all non-ferro parts.
